Radnor A Better Chance
A Better Chance identifies and recruits academically talented and motivated students of color from disadvantaged school districts and places them in outstanding public, independent and private high schools across the United States. Radnor A Better Chance students live in a group home setting, attend Radnor High School and are in an advanced college prep curriculum. We select young people who ordinarily may not go to college or even finish high school and prepare them to enter the greater community of productive, working college graduates. The chapter in Radnor educates 9 to 10 students per year. We rely on donations from the community, foundations and corporations for operating funds. Our resident directors, board of directors and live-in tutors are unpaid volunteers. Radnor ABC is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
