About Us
Slavic Village Development (SVD) is a non-profit Community Development Corporation serving the Broadway Slavic Village community of southeast Cleveland. Over the past 30 years SVD has helped to bring millions of dollars of investment into the community. SVD improves quality of life and creates an active vibrant community through quality programming; community building through an empowered network of block clubs, and civic and social organizations with an emphasis on programs and projects that encourage physical activity; new and rehabilitated housing; and retention and recruitment of quality businesses.
