Women in Art Initiative

Women in Art Initiative was founded at the University of Pennsylvania as a not-for-profit student organization. We aim to address gender imbalance in the presentation of art, bring recognition to women artists of all periods and nationalities, promote contemporary women artists, and advocate for gender equality in the visual arts. We fulfill our mission through organizing public events and campaigns, conducting interviews and advocating on social media.
