About Us

Restore Mass Ave (RMA) is a nonprofit that adds trees and arranges care for trees and greenspace along Embassy Row in Washington, DC. Over the last 10 years, we have arranged 450+ new trees and care for ~1,000 trees. In fact, the tree canopy has expanded 13%!

Our small group needs help meeting the challenges of success. We engage embassies, US residents, stakeholders such as businesses and non profits and city agencies, for planting, care, and reviving historic landscape generally. We have a large network of greenminded people of all ages.

We try to share our projects through social media, events and volunteer tree care workshops. We are a model for others hoping to green other streets. Learn more at restoremassave.org/
