BBFF is a cultural organization dedicated to artistic activism, using film, poetry, and exhibitions to uplift Black and Brown communities. We celebrate the Black and Brown femme communities (femme: anyone who embraces the feminine perspective, including women-identifying, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people) through our submission-free film and poetry festivals, and our pop-up museum.By amplifying these voices—often the first teachers, nurturers, and cultural storytellers—we challenge harmful narratives and build stronger, united communities.BBFF removes barriers to participation and provides an inclusive platform for radical art, advocacy, and connection.
