Restaurant Opportunities Center of New Orleans

The Restaurant Opportunities Center of New Orleans is a member based organization dedicated to improving work conditions and raising industry standards for all people working in New Orleans’ restaurants. We are currently seeking volunteers for the fall and spring semesters to assist in surveying and interviewing this city’s restaurant workers. The results of the survey will be used to educate the public and fight for improved industry standards. Volunteers should be friendly, articulate, and motivated. Two person teams of surveyors may be asked to approach workers in situations such as public transit stops, outside restaurants, and the French Quarter streets.
