About Us

The Oaktree Foundation is made up of young Australians who aim to empower themselves and their peers to contribute to the movement to end extreme poverty.

We have come together to raise funds and awareness in order to resource education and community-based initiatives in developing areas. Oaktree aims to assist young people in developing communities by promoting education, motivation and sustainability. This involves a focus on domestic advocacy campaigns, which seek to change the perceptions of Australians on the issue of extreme poverty.

The Foundation is made up of volunteers (aged 25 and under), as we believe that young people have the passion, motivation and energy necessary for making positive change in our world. Oaktree also has a network of industry professionals who mentor our volunteers and provide them with support and guidance.
