  • About Us

One Night, One Mission: Your Mission MARK YOUR CALENDARS TO LIGHT THE NIGHT! 10/3 - Walk in Monterey 10/10 - Walk in Palo Alto 10/17 - Walk in San Mateo 10/24 - Walk in San Jose

What is Light The Night? Light The Night is the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer. People form teams of friends and family or co-workers. They raise funds for cancer research and bring help and hope to people battling cancer.

On Walk night, they gather in cities and towns across North America. Walking in twilight, they hold illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters, gold in memory of a life lost. More than a walk, the evening is a supportive community gathering that includes music, food and family activities.

Why Walk? It’s fun! It’s inspirational! And you’ll be helping hundreds of thousands of Americans battling leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to fund its lifesaving research, patient information and support programs. LLS meets the Better Business Bureau standards for charitable accountability.
