About Us
Our mission is to foster the social change and community response necessary to eradicate domestic violence in the Jewish community.Shalom Bayit is Northern California’s hub for organizing abuse prevention and response programs through a Jewish lens. We create peace in the place that matters most: at home. Shalom Bayit empowers women and girls to make positive choices and lead violence-free lives, teaches young people tools for building healthy, respectful relationships, and works towards building a Jewish communal response to domestic violence.
