    The Bushwick HomeBase Program is a Department of Homeless Services (DHS) initiative designed to reduce the number of applicants to the DHS shelter system from Bushwick. Our primary objectives are to identify and outreach to persons in housing crises, stabilize the households, address the underlying causes as to why they are in crisis, and foster long term stability. HomeBase offers its clients comprehensive case management services, referrals, and financial assistance through a DHS subsidy fund.
