About Us

The Warren County Historical Society owns and operates three historic properties in downtown Lebanon, Ohio. The Warren County History Center located in Harmon Hall houses the Society's main collection which includes a major exhibits of the people called Shakers, 20th Century industrial designer Russel Wright, and a historical research and genealogy library. The Warren County History Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00pm.

The Old Post Office is a 1936 WPA built Federal post office that the Society converted into the Lebanon Conference and Banquet Center. It's lower level houses the curator's offices, storage vaults, store rooms and work rooms.

Glendower Historic Mansion is a circa 1845 Greek revival mansion known for its outstanding architecture. The house is portrayed as a house museum circa 1845 to 1865 (at present). Costumed interpreters provide tours. The house is open seasonally.

The primary mission of the Warren County Historical Society is to preserve and conserve Warren County's history through its museum collections and it historical archive.
