    United Way of Kern County is focused on improving the education, health and financial stability of our community. We convene stakeholders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to address pressing issues, including early childhood literacy, financial stability for struggling families, and hunger and homelessness. UWKC serves as the backbone organization for the following coalitions: Kern County Homeless Collaborative, Kern Food Policy Council, Kern VITA Partnership, and the Kern Coalition Against Human Trafficking.
