Based in San Francisco, Spear is an ensemble of actors and artists working with physical theater.Developing new works and reshaping existing works, they tell stories through a dance of music, literature, everyday movements, acrobatics, staged combat, and mask inspired styliizations. It is their intention to evoke community consciousness and discourse, through provocative spectacle, by igniting interest to the familiar. This ensemble is committed to act responsibly in the matters of finance, respecting the craft and careers of all company members and insuring the on-going solvency of the Ensemble.
