Masomo For Children

The mission of Masomo for Children is to advance the education of disadvantaged children and youths living in Mwanza, Tanzania.

Masomo for Children fulfills its mission by:

(1) sponsoring tuition scholarships for children and youths living in orphanages and marginalized communities to attend primary and secondary schools and vocational colleges;

(2) providing these children with access to educational resources and other basic supplies needed to succeed in their studies (incidentally, "masomo" is the Swahili word for "studies" or "lessons").

Masomo for Children is operated entirely on a voluntary basis. Its minimal administrative costs are paid for by the directors of the charity; as such, 100% of all donations received have a direct impact on the education of disadvantaged children and youths in Mwanza.
