    About Us

Cramp Elementary is a Philadelphia public school in the Fair Hill section of North Philadelphia. In 2019 the Cramp Library was reopened for the first time in many years. The Library is light and busy. Every class at Cramp--from the youngest who come for story time--to the 2nd through 5th graders who come to search for and check out books, it reflects the goal of the school: to educate young children. We are in need of several volunteers who would be willing to help out in the library several hours or days per week. This can include working directly with the children (reading to the youngest; helping 2nd-5th graders find books to check out) to reshelving books, to using the computer system to scan books in and out, etc. We will work with you so you are doing what feels comfortable for you.
