Eos Foundation - Women's Power Gap Initiative

  • About Us

The Eos Foundation is a private philanthropic foundation.

We seek an equitable and just society where the basic human needs of all individuals are met, where children grow up well-nourished and healthy with opportunities for high quality education and the tools to achieve economic self-sufficiency, and where leadership equitably represents society’s rich gender and racial diversity.

In 2018, Eos launched the Women’s Power Gap Initiative, which aims to dramatically increase the number of women from diverse backgrounds in leadership positions across all sectors. The Women’s Power Gap Initiative began with a series of reports and events spotlighting prominent sectors of the Massachusetts economy – measuring the extent of the power gap, and proposing solutions to reach gender parity in each. In early 2021, together with AAUW, the Women’s Power Gap Initiative will publish a report on Executive Compensation in Higher Education among national R1 universities.
