About Us

Remember Us currently has two central projects:

Remember Us | The Holocaust Bnai Mitzvah Project was founded by Jewish educator Gesher Calmenson, who dreamed it possible, through connection with the memory of one child, for a young person’s heart, conscience and mind to be opened. Through this project, over 19,000 children have stood up in honor of an individual child who perished in the Holocaust and acted for the good in their name.

Remember Us | The Righteous Conversations Project brings together Holocaust survivors and teens to speak up about injustice in today’s world through creative new media projects. Launched at Harvard-Westlake School in February of 2011, the Project works in partnership with schools and local non-profits to empower teens in collaboration with Holocaust survivors to imagine and shape a better world.
