About Us
The Chowchilla Family Express provides FREE transportation for families to visit their loved ones at the two women’s prisons in Chowchilla, California. We charter a bus each weekend from a different major city. This requires registering families, coordinating with the prisons, keeping data for the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, printing reports from the database, and lots of phone calls in English and Spanish with family members.
