The Loomis Chaffee School
The five-week program runs from late June to early August for students entering grades 7-12. Students enjoy a hands-on experience in our classrooms, labs, music rooms, and art studios as they pursue opportunities for learning and discovery in a variety of course offerings. The Summer Program encourages the exploration of both new and familiar subject matters in an atmosphere that inspires academic engagement, enrichment, and growth. Each student takes one of his or her three courses from our slate of Writing courses. Outside of the classroom, students engage in daily recreational activities, have access to college guidance counseling, and participate in on- and off-campus activities. Weekend excursions include travel to local destinations including Boston, New York City, Mystic, Connecticut, and the Rhode Island shore.
