About Us
"The mission of Emanuel Arts Council, Inc. shall be to serve as a non-profit institution in promoting and sponsoring cultural programs in all areas of the arts, for the general community betterment and benefit of the people of Emanuel county and surrounding areas in Georgia." Thus, EAC maintains a visual art gallery (The Kalmanson Gallery) with monthly exhibitions by regional artists, produces plays by local actors through Community Theatre, sponsors an Artist Guild for visual artists, provides "open mic" events for young performers monthly, teaches children's arts and crafts classes and camps,and produces choral concerts and Emanu'Ole Opry, local county music performances.
