  • Mission

Is to transform the lives of children by reducing their risk to the epidemic of childhood obesity and diabetes by teaching the valuable life skill of cooking andeating healthy.

    About Us

We have been teaching children 4 - 10 yrs of age for the past 21 in in the Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. To cook and eat healthy. When we started teaching children to cook we taught them what they would eat. In 2010 we saw that the children's health had gone from children being over weight to 1 in every 3 children in America being obese and or having diabetes. We chose to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. So we changed our curriculum to teaching what children needed to eat to be healthy and chose to became a not for profit 501 c3. We had programs teaching preschoolers how to cook and eat healthy in Livermore (Junction Ave. preschool) and at the Antioch Community Center sponsored by Fremont Bank, Junior League of the East Bay and Provident Credit Union. We have hosted 5 Children's Interactive/educational booths @ the Moraga Comminuty Faire and @ the Livermore Children's Fair. We have held 4 fundraisers to get funds to purchase a Mobile Classroom Kitchen. In the under served Communities 50 % of the Children we are trying to teach don't even have kitchen for us to teach in. These children's risk is even great the 1 in every 3 children in America for obesity & diabetes because their School districts nor the parents in these communities have the funds for this much needed early childhood health education. We also take 10 % of every class (for pay) we teach and put it into a fund to teach our classes in the under served Communities.
