About Us

The Tree of Life Educational Fund (TOLEF) was established by The First Congregational Church of Old Lyme, Connecticut, to provide cross-cultural and transnational travel experiences, interfaith conferences and educational and advocacy opportunities to help participants to become more enlightened and engaged in establishing a more just and peaceful world.

The Tree of Life organization operates through an anti-racist and intersectional framework that envisions a just and lasting peace for those suffering under settler colonial rule. As part of a global movement in solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Tree of Life works to educate and mobilize people from all walks of life who wish to join, or are already a part of, the struggle for Palestinian liberation.

The organization’s network, Board of Directors, and Advisory Board include people from many different faiths and backgrounds who are activists, advocates, and donors. Through its radically inclusive approach, the organization is dedicated to growing its network around the US and beyond – everyone is welcome.
