    About Us

Ohio Alleycat Resource (OAR) has many programs and services dedicated to raising the standard of living for cats in the Greater Cincinnati area.

    • Our low-cost, high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter clinic for cats has prevented hundreds of thousands of new litters of kittens from being born and ending up on the streets or in shelters. Since opening, we have fixed almost 70,000 cats.
    • Our no-kill rescue, located at our beautiful Joanie Bernard Home for Cats, pulls cats at risk of euthanasia from public shelters and adopts them into loving forever homes.
    • Our community cats program works to end the killing of free-roaming cats in shelters and to address the unique challenges of unowned and stray cats, who are the number one contributors to the population ending up at kill shelters.
