Parsons The New School for Design Graduate Programs

About Us

Parsons The New School for Design offers graduate programs in a number of disciplines for qualified designers and artists who wish to pursue advanced studio work and research. More than 500 graduate students attend programs ranging in size from 12 to 175 enrollees. Students benefit from study with a renowned faculty of working professionals in a diverse New York City-based learning community, and enjoy intimate seminar and studio classes, and work closely with faculty to plan self-designed and flexible programs. Parsons offers specialized courses of study but emphasizes cross disciplinary work. Students collaborate with colleagues in other divisions of The New School, as well as high-profile companies and institutions, on projects that address real-world challenges. Parsons’ tradition of civic engagement and collaboration prepares students to become successful, socially aware practitioners and scholars in today’s increasingly global context.
