  • About Us

Yad Sarah is Israel's leading volunteer-staffed organization, providing a vital array of compassionate health and home care services for all ages.

Yad Sarah's free services are delivered by over 6,000 volunteers in more than 100 branches, bringing hope and help to the frail, the elderly, the homebound, victims of terror attacks and children with special needs. Services are provided without regard to socio-economic status, political or religious affiliation, national origin.

Although Yad Sarah is best known for lending durable medical equipment, volunteers also provide in-home geriatric dental care, advocate for victims of elder abust, drive children with special needs to school, work and social visits in our wheelchair-accessible vans, and help people recover and restore independent functioning through our Day Rehabilitation Centers.

More than 400,000 people utilized services at Yad Sarah last year.
