Illinois Coalition to End Permanent Punishments

  • Mission

To end permanent punishments for individuals with arrest or conviction records through centering the leadership development of those directly impacted.

    About Us

Inspired by the goals and strategies of the Fully Free Campaign which publicly launched in 2020 at Heartland Alliance, the directly impacted people involved decided to build an organization that would be a hub for a movement to eliminate those barriers and open up opportunity to people with records across Illinois. The Illinois Coalition to End Permanent Punishments (ENDPP.ORG), which is currently fiscally sponsored by Live Free Illinois, became an independent entity governed by and staffed by directly impacted people. ENDPP.ORG is poised to maximize resources and leverage the growing momentum of this grassroots advocacy work in Illinois over the coming years.
