Women's Resource Center

  • Mission

The Women's Resource Center of the Delaware Valley supports women, strengthens families and builds communities through information and referral, counseling, legal, and financial stability services. We empower women to make informed decisions and achieve personal growth during life transitions in a safe, caring and supportive environment. WRC is dedicated to maintaining the highest ethical standards in serving women and their families with compassion, confidentiality, care and respect.

    About Us

Since its inception in 1975, Women's Resource Center has become increasingly well-known as a clearinghouse of information on human service resources for women in the Delaware Valley. Women from the five-county area routinely turn to the Center with questions about healthcare, childcare, legal issues, career development, and occasionally with urgent calls for crisis intervention. The Information and Referral Helpline is the gateway to all of Women's Resource Center's programs and services. Our volunteers have been trained to provide helpful and accurate referrals to the hundreds of agencies in our database. We also provide low-cost legal consultations, free and low-cost counseling, financial and career coaching, and a Girls Lead program.
