BREAKN GROUND

We strive to provide resources for therapy. Raise awareness about mental health issues solely in the African American community. We tailor our support and events to the African American experience. We will be having our 2nd Annual M.I.M.S. Walk this October. M.IM.S. stands for mile in my shoes. During the walk we have activities that are used as outlets to express emotions and feelings even just things that are better expressed using music, art, writing or just talking. We take that time to focus on what it feels like to walk in another's shoes. We have events called "The Connector Project". Our most recent event was 'The Devine Garden" where we discussed psudo-strength in black women and how it is harmful to not only self but the community as a whole.
