    About the Park Youth Collaborative

With backbone support from the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, National Park Service, and Presidio Trust, organizations such as the YMCA, Walt Disney Family Museum, and the Marine Mammal Center are working with PYC to increase youth access to the rich opportunities in the GGNRA, an urban national park spanning over 80,000 acres. There are over 15 youth-serving GGNRA organizations participating in PYC.

The vision is that youth, especially those from underrepresented communities (youth of color, LGTBQ, youth disconnected from education and career support, students from Title I schools, etc.) benefit from park programs, resources, and pathways that will help them accomplish their personal, academic, and professional goals
