About Us
The Coalition to Oppose the Arms Trade (COAT) publishes Press for Conversion! Each issue of this magazine focuses on a different antiwar theme. COAT began in late 1988 to organize opposition to ARMX '89, which was then Canada's largest weapons bazaar. Since then, COAT has continued to expose and oppose Canada's role in various wars, weapons programs and the international arms trade.
