YOUNG MUSICIANS OF WESTCHESTER INC

Initially, YMW is partnering with a large public library in Southern Westchester to present concerts at the library’s auditorium for students in the city’s school district. These concerts, which are planned for early 2023, will be part of the library’s ongoing efforts to provide students with opportunities to engage with a diverse range of performing artists. Our sponsored performances will feature musicians starting their professional careers who have passion for education. The programs will provide opportunities for students to interact with musicians sharing their talents, enthusiasm, experience, and interests. In addition, YMW will offer performance opportunities for our musicians to play for a wider range of audiences in programs that will be free of charge to the public.

As a new organization, YMW is seeking individuals who share our interests to join our Board of Directors. In addition, we are inviting musicians and music educators to help guide these efforts.
