The People Project improves the quality of life for low and moderate income communities by unleashing the passion and power of people to change the world.
We provide support, education, training and capcity-building for small to micro projects/groups seeking social and economic justice at the grassroots.
Current projects include
- building a community-labor alliance for community services to save and improve public health and human services for low income people
- educating the community about the "Robin Hood Tax" and other fair, progressive ways to raise public revenue for needed public services
- conducting education and training workshops on community organizing and economic justice
