    • Mission

    Built in 1913, the Moonhill Schoolhouse Community Center offers monthly community dances, continuing education workshops, and physical fitness classes such as Yoga and Zumba. It also hosts private events such as weddings, reunions, parties, funerals, meetings, classes or clubs. Our primary mission is to support our community with resources while encouraging and fostering local collaboration and relationship building. Our secondary mission is to reinvigorate our rural neighborhood’s history of dancing and celebrating together, as well as sharing and honoring our proud ranching history.

    About Us

    A Schoolhouse built in 1913 was converted to a local community center in the 70s. Since then it has filled a niche in the country for people to celebrate, visit and be educated or share education. Keeping it open is our goal and it's not hard to do. It's needs are small and thought it is aging, the building is in relatively good shape. We are looking for carpenters, electricians, dancers, teachers of all kinds, and for people to serve on our board which meets infreqently.
