Our Mission

Environment Erie is committed to the sustainability of our community’s natural resources through restoration, revitalization, and education.

Programs

Youth Education-Environment Erie educates youth each summer at Eco Explorer Camp, and each school year by supporting student green teams and sustainability projects on campus

Vacant lot revitalization-Environment Erie partners with neighborhood organizations to reclaim vacant lots

Collaboration-while not a program, but vital to our work. Environment Erie is part of the committee that monitors the sub watersheds in Lake Erie and is a core member of the Community Resilience Action Network of Erie, a working group striving to make Erie resilient to climate change.

Environment Erie is finalizing strategic planning, the above programs are core programs that will carry into the next chapter of Environment Erie.
