About Us

The New Orleans Citizen Participation Project (NOLACPP) is a citizen driven campaign to develop a system of direct involvement of the city’s residents in public decision-making in all issues that impact our quality of life. Working in partnership with numerous community organizations, neighborhood groups and other non-profits across New Orleans, we are building a grassroots movement to deepen democracy and enhance social inclusion in our city’s recovery.

The New Orleans Citizen Participation Project is a program of the Committee for a Better New Orleans/Metropolitan Area Committee – www.cbno.org. CBNO/MAC is a diverse community organization, a catalyst and convener, working to bring all voices to the table to effect systemic changes that will build a better future for all New Orleanians.
