DC Advocates for the Arts

The DC Advocates for the Arts are an all-volunteer organization working to increase support for local arts through interaction with arts leaders and policy-makers. Our focus is on influencing public policy. We track local arts issues, and participate in discussions to support the arts, throughout the year.

We strive to share relevant information through our website, our meetings, and our individual networks. The DC Advocates are not the only organization working to support local arts and artists; our focus is on the interaction of public policy and the arts. Arts Advocacy reinforces the work done by numerous individuals and organizations in support of the arts.
