  • Mission

The Cat Crossing is a public, non-profit 501c3 cat sanctuary dedicated to the care, protection, and humane treatment of homeless cats, especially those that are often not considered adoptable. While we take in unwanted cats and kittens, we provide a safe and secure place where elderly, disabled, or difficult to place cats can live out their lives. Our mission is to provide rescue, shelter, rehabilitation, medical care, and, when appropriate, adoption services for all cats that enter our facility. The Cat Crossing has been formed to address the issue of stray, abandoned, and feral cats and kittens in and around Cleveland's west side. As feral cat colony caregivers, every night we feed more than 100 cats at 25+ stations.
