About Us
Pacifica School Volunteers inspires a love of learning, advances students’ academic achievement, and promotes children’s well being. Toward these ends we deliver a program that:
- Recruits, trains, and places adult volunteers in our public schools;
- Involves high school and college students in serving our schools;
- Assists parents in supporting their children;
- Presents community-wide events to promote literacy and academic achievement; and
- Builds community by strengthening ties among students, families, businesses, civic organizations, and the schools.
