    The Korean Center, Inc. (KCI), founded in 1974, is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Korean Americans and other Bay area residents realize their full potential through education, training and social services. In 1995, KCI established the Intercultural Institute of California (IIC) to to make a Korean studies program accessible to students anywhere in the world by offering online courses (http://www.iic.edu). IIC, which has been certified by the state of California, offers a Master of Arts degree in Korean studies.
