The American School of South Sudan prepares students for life by teaching skills that will enable them to achieve academic excellence and become productive, global citizens in this ever changing world.

Vision Statement

After more then two decades of civil war, South Sudan's education sector has been left devastated. The American School of South Sudan aims to develop local talent by providing students with an innovative and progressive education, modeled after the best schools in America, that caters to the learning differences of each student, and prepares them to attend the top colleges and universities around the world. We envision our students returning to South Sudan to take part in building this young nation.

We recruit the best faculty and staff, nationally and internationally; who encourage our students to think independently and question ideas, developing productive citizens- the future of South Sudan. We provide a positive, creative and stimulating learning environment, in order for our students to thrive. Additionally, we believe learning is continuous therefore, faculty, staff and students will be provided additional educational opportunities nationally and abroad.
