Reach & Rise Youth Mentoring Program

"To help kids expand their horizons, realize their potential and enrich their lives through caring adult mentors."

Reach and Rise Youth Mentoring Program, formerly called Sidekicks, is in need of adult mentors. Adult mentors (Talls) are matched one-on-one with a youth in Aberdeen. Once matched, the Tall and Small do fun activities together. Matches meet 2-4 times each month and the mentoring lasts for one year.

Mentors are dependeable adults who give unconditional postivie support to a youth in need. Mentors find strenghts in their Small and build upon them. Mentors create a safe place for youth to express feelings in positive and constructive ways. Mentors can make a huge difference in the life of a youth that will last a lifetime.
