    About Us

    The Lewis and Joan Platt East Palo Alto Family YMCA opened in 2007, after what began as a dream nearly two decades before. This dream became a reality for thousands of children, youth and adults. Today the Y plays a much larger in the community-its a place where all people are welcomed together. We empower future generations through programs and services that build healthy mind, body and spirit.

    We welcome volunteers! and give volunteer hours and community service hours.

    Programs: youth sports, homework club (after school tutoring) youth and government, Nana y Yo, specialty programs.
