First Presbyterian Church Nursery School

About Us

The First Presbyterian Church Nursery School was founded in 1952 as a service to its members and the community. The School is non-sectarian and actively seeks to enroll children from diverse racial, economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. This diversity gives each child an opportunity to learn and to live comfortably and cooperatively with children from backgrounds different from his or her own. Moral and ethical values are fostered in their everyday school experiences through discussion and example set by friendly and caring faculty. FPCNS emphasizes respect and acceptance of others as part of the development of self-esteem. These values are demonstrated by the entire school community, and through their support and interest towards the school.
