  • Mission

The Bondsville Mill Park is a unique township park. Our aim is to study, restore and preserve the natural habitat and to provide support and information that will inspire our neighbors to respect and care for nature in their backyards. A park where visitors can see and contemplate history, and take time to honor and remember those that lived and worked in this historic village.

    About Us

Bondsville Mill Park is a 47 acre property transformed into a space for passive recreation, preserving nature and a historic site. The remains of some of the buildings represent the historic and industry importance the Mill had for over 100 years from about 1840 to 1950. The park property now has 2 miles of hiking trails, gardens (including a nearly one acre handicap accessible garden designed by David Culp that is nearing completion), picnic areas, a bird watch area and an amphitheater for outdoor education opportunities. The Mill gardens have been recognized as Certified Pennsylvania Pollinator Friendly, Certified Wildlife Habitat, Monarch Way Station, and is represented on Doug Tallamy's Homegrown National Park Map. We provide programs for children and adults covering a variety of topics related to native species landscapes, birds and wildlife, monarchs and more.
