GENESIC NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION INCORPORATED

  • Mission

Genèsic Nonprofit Organization mission is to develop and implement programming to advocate for improved treatments for those living with Sickle Cell Anemia

    About Us

Genèsic Nonprofit Organization was founded on March 28, 2018 in Albany, Georgia. The goal of Genèsic Nonprofit Organization is to address health care disparities, specifically Sickle Cell Anemia, in the Southwest Georgia region. We want to support the Sickle Cell population from pediatrics into adult care and provide health resources to alleviate pain, reduce crises and maintain their overall health. We host our annual Iron Up Community Event to commemorate Sickle Cell warriors, caregivers and advocates. We host Love Your Body Heartily seminar, where we disseminate information on health and wellness. We are partners with the American Red Cross and host blood drives. We provide Care+A+Cell package to patients who are hospitalized and family who lost a loved one from Sickle Cell Anemia. Most importantly, we advocate for the Sickle Cell warriors at the State Capitol.
