Our mission is to improve education and teacher well-being in Cambodia by giving teachers the skills, confidence and support they need to create safe and inspiring classrooms. We also train teachers to pass on healthy well-being and personal development approaches to their students. We work with schools and communities that have limited resources, and we provide practical training that makes a real difference to everyday teaching. Our focus is on fairness, opportunity and giving every child the chance to learn in an environment where they feel valued, respected and supported. We also work in the UK, providing mental health and well-being support and training courses.
HeadGym Foundation is a small UK charity that works closely with teachers and schools in Cambodia & the UK. We believe that strong teaching changes lives, and we focus on helping teachers build practical skills they can use straight away in their classrooms. We support schools in rural and low-income communities where teachers often work with very few materials and little professional support.
Our work includes teacher training, mentoring, well-being & mental health support and the development of simple learning tools that teachers can use with confidence. We believe in listening first. Teachers and community members guide our approach so the training always fits their real needs and local culture.
We work in a caring and respectful way. We aim to build long-term relationships, not one-off visits. We value the voices of the teachers we support, and we want them to feel encouraged, respected and empowered. Everything we do is focused on improving opportunities for children and giving them a better learning experience through stronger and happier teachers.
If you want to use your time and skills to support education, global development and the well-being of teachers and children, we would love to connect with you.
