    Brookfield Craft Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, founded in 1954 "to teach and preserve the skills of fine craftsmanship, and to enable creativity and personal growth through craft education." We strive to support creativity, fine design and quality craftsmanship without regard to race, gender or religious affiliation.

    About Us

    Our historic 2.5 acre campus is located six miles north of Danbury, Connecticut, on the banks of the Still River, with an historic Mill Building as its centerpiece. Our six vintage buildings house seven fully-equipped fine craft teaching studios, an exhibition gallery, a retail craft gallery and seasonal gift shop.
