    For over a quarter century, the Federation of Gay Games have built an international legacy of changing cultural, social and political attitudes towards LGBT people across the globe, while at the same time empowering tens of thousands with the transforming benefits of sports competition. The Gay Games is the largest sports and culture festival in the world open to all, to take place every four years under the founding principles of the Gay Games: Participation, Inclusion, and Personal Best™. The 2014 Gay Games, presented by the Cleveland Foundation, will take place in the cities of Cleveland + Akron on August 9-16 2014 with an estimated 11,000 participants and 4,000 volunteers and other visitors engaging in 32+ sporting and cultural events.
