    About Us

    The California Museum offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for anyone with an interest in California history, art and culture available throughout the week in flexible 2 hour intervals. Volunteers are instrumental in making the Museum experience memorable for over 125,000 visitors each year, in positions ranging from gallery guides, special events, and more. Benefits include free a Museum membership after 40 hours of volunteer service, a discount in Museum Store, free event attendance and the opportunity to help the Museum meet its mission to educate, enlighten and inspire visitors with California history, arts and culture.
