    The NM Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (NMCDLA) provides support, education and training for attorneys who represent persons accused of crime. NMCDLA also advocates fair and effective criminal justice in the courts, the legislature and in the community.

    About Us

    The New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (NMCDLA) includes over 550 lawyers in private and public defense practice throughout the state. We provide legal training and resources to help lawyers help their clients and we provide education to communities and elected officials about criminal justice issues such as solitary confinement, bail reform and alternatives to incarceration.
